Mission overview
VyomSat-2 flew on a sounding rocket to ~800 m, deployed cleanly and streamed altitude, pressure, temperature and GPS all the way down under a passive parachute.
The win came from reliability: three full drop-test rehearsals before competition day.
Lessons learned
Antenna placement inside the can mattered more than radio power.
