// 01 — Our story

From an 80 m hop to the edge of the sky.

Vyomnauts started as a handful of students at PSIT with one question: could we build a rocket that actually comes back? The first one didn't. Neither did the second.

Every failure became a checklist item. Within a few seasons the club was flying dual-deploy rockets past a kilometre, building CanSats that radioed live telemetry, and tuning drones that held position in the wind. Now we're stepping into robotics — same crew, same obsession with getting it right.

Mission

Give every student who's serious about aerospace a place to design, build, break and fly real hardware — and learn more from it than any classroom could teach.

Vision

A student team from PSIT that competes with the best in the world, sends hardware to the edge of space, and builds machines that build machines.

How we work

  • Fly it or it didn't happen
  • Every failure gets a post-mortem
  • Seniors teach juniors
  • Safety is not optional
  • Credit the whole crew

// 02 — The journey

Every year, a little higher.

Scroll the flight log — the wins, the rounds we cleared, and the crashes that taught us the most.

  1. 2021

    The first launch pad

    A handful of students, one borrowed workshop and a sugar-motor rocket that flew 80 m.

  2. 2022

    First competition

    Cleared two rounds at our first national rocketry event. Learned what a design review really is.

  3. 2023

    CanSat goes live

    Our first CanSat streams altitude, pressure and temperature over LoRa — and survives the drop.

  4. 2024

    Past a kilometre

    Agni-II reaches 1.1 km with dual-deploy recovery. The drones crew forms.

  5. 2025

    Podiums

    Design awards and finals across rocketry and CanSat. 40+ active members.

  6. 2026

    Robotics begins

    A new division: arms, rovers, SLAM. Robotics to orbit to cosmos.

// 03 — How we're organised

Four divisions. One crew.

Members pick the division they build in, but nobody works alone: every launch pulls in people from all four. There's no ladder here — just a crew.
